The R48 Private Alpha planning screen, showing blocks for today and tomorrow and a Private Alpha label

01 / OVERVIEW

What it does

Begin with life areas

Allocate time to work, family, health, creative work, and other areas before filling the day with tasks.

You choose this plan

AI does not silently pull in the whole backlog. Only the tasks you select enter the plan.

Meaning and time stay separate

AI handles semantic judgment; deterministic scheduling handles exact times, conflicts, and capacity.

Make only 48 hours concrete

Today and tomorrow use exact time. Later work is treated as capacity instead.

02 / STATUS

Current status

  • A mobile-first Today / Tomorrow timeline
  • Separate layers for life-area blocks, fixed busy time, and task placements
  • Task capture, planning selection, and rebuilding
  • A read-only Today / Tomorrow Google Calendar boundary
  • Private Alpha persistence and a server-side AI boundary

03 / BOUNDARIES

Limits and boundaries

  • This is a Private Alpha, not a public release.
  • It is not distributed through the App Store.
  • Google OAuth is limited to approved test users.
  • It does not modify or delete source Google Calendar events.
  • Notifications, habits, general project management, and a monthly calendar are outside the initial scope.
  • AI does not optimize a person's life or make final decisions for them.

04 / PRIVACY

How data is handled

Task text is used for semantic analysis only when the user explicitly builds a plan. Calendar titles, descriptions, attendees, email addresses, meeting URLs, locations, and calendar names are not sent to AI. Calendar access is read-only, on demand, and limited to today and tomorrow—without continuous monitoring.
